An autumn forest near Stockholm with golden leaves – Stockholm nature tour

About this Stockholm nature tour

You do not have to leave the city to find proper Swedish nature. Djurgården’s royal parkland is a fifteen-minute walk from Östermalm — open fields, old oaks, water on every side.

For longer hikes through forest and lake country, we go further out. Recent guests have walked 8km routes ending with a swim.

Boots optional, curiosity required. Tell me how much ground you want to cover and I will plan around it.

What’s included

  • Guided walk with a local expert
  • Route planned to your fitness level
  • Recommendations for a swim stop, weather permitting

Adapt this tour

Tell me how long you want to walk. We can keep it short and close to the city, or make a full day of it. See all private tours in Stockholm.

Good to know before your Stockholm nature tour

Short walk or full-day hike

For a short tour of 2 to 4 hours, we walk in Djurgården’s royal parkland, fifteen minutes on foot from Östermalm. For a full day, we go further out, into forest and lake country.

Fitness and shoes

The trails are moderate. I plan the route to your fitness level. Wear shoes that you can walk in on forest paths. In summer, bring swimwear if you want a swim stop.

When to go

The nature tour runs all year. In autumn, the parks of Djurgården turn gold.

Children and access needs

Children are welcome. Tell me about mobility, sensory or other access needs before you book, and I plan a route that works for you.

Price, payment and cancellation

I do not have a fixed price list. The price depends on the number of guests and the hours. Within 24 hours, you get a route and a clear price quote. You pay by bank transfer, in cash, or online by Stripe, PayPal or credit card. Cancel more than 48 hours before the tour for a full refund of any online payment.

What guests said

“We were visiting Stockholm for the weekend and wanted to see its nature and Zayera offered us an 8km hike in an amazing forest and a swim in a very beautiful lake at the end. The experience was incredible.”

Mariam, hiking in a nature reserve, October 2025

“Zayera was so polite and kind. I really recommend this tour if you want to see a different side of Stockholm and especially if you want to get out of the city for a while.”
