Terms of Use

1. About This Business

By using this site or booking a tour, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or book a tour.

2. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Swedish law and applicable EU regulation, including the GDPR (EU 2016/679). Disputes are handled by Södertörns tingsrätt as the court of first instance, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rule that lets you bring a claim in your own country of residence.

3. Booking a Tour

At present, all tour bookings are arranged directly by email with Zayera Khan. Payment is made by bank transfer arranged individually, or in cash on the day of the tour. Online payment (for example via Stripe or PayPal) may be introduced in the future. Your booking is confirmed once you have received written confirmation by email. This section will be updated when online booking and payment are introduced.

4. Cancellations and the Right of Withdrawal

Under EU and Swedish consumer law, buyers normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase. This right does not apply to services tied to leisure activities on a specific date, which includes a guided tour. Once your tour booking for a specific date is confirmed, the standard 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to it.

Cancel more than 48 hours before the tour for a full refund of any payment already made — whether by bank transfer, cash, or online payment (including Stripe or PayPal, once available). Cancel within 48 hours of the tour, and the payment covers the time held.

If Zayera cancels a tour — for example due to weather, safety, or too few participants — you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook.

If a statutory right of withdrawal does apply to a purchase that is not a date-specific tour, contact Zayera in writing at info@zayera.com to exercise it.

5. Taking Part in a Tour

Tours may involve walking outdoors, uneven ground, and weather exposure. Zayera will adapt a tour to reasonable accessibility needs where possible. To be able to do this, any accessibility need, condition, mobility limit, or medical need relevant to your safety or participation must be given to Zayera in writing (for example, by email) before the tour starts. Needs raised only verbally, or only on the day of the tour, cannot be guaranteed to be accommodated.

Zayera takes reasonable care for your safety but is not liable for injury, loss, or damage from things outside her reasonable control — weather, third parties, or your own actions — except where the law does not allow that liability to be excluded, or where the harm results from her own negligence.

6. Photography

Zayera may take photos or video during tours to use on zayera.com, in marketing, and on social media. If you would rather not be photographed, tell her before or during the tour, and she will make reasonable efforts to leave you out of anything published.

7. Using the Website

You must be 18 or have a parent or guardian’s consent to book a tour or use this site. No account registration is currently required to browse the site or make an inquiry.

8. Ownership of Content

All text, photographs, and other material on zayera.com belong to Zayera Khan unless credited otherwise, and are protected under Swedish copyright law (Upphovsrättslagen 1960:729). All photographs on this site were taken by Zayera Khan unless stated otherwise. Reproducing, distributing, or commercially using this material without written permission is not allowed, except where the law requires an exception (for example fair use/fair dealing).

9. Acceptable Use

When using this site, you agree not to:

break any applicable law or third-party right
scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the site without permission
attempt to breach the site’s security
upload malware or harmful code
send spam or harass other users or Zayera
impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection to zayera.com

10. If Something Goes Wrong

If you are unhappy with a tour or service, contact Zayera directly first. If that does not resolve things, Swedish consumers can bring a complaint to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN, www.arn.se) or use the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.

11. No Guarantees

The website and its content are provided “as is.” Zayera does not guarantee the site will always be available, error-free, or secure, and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, to the extent Swedish law allows such limits.

zayera.com may link to third-party sites. Zayera has no control over their content or privacy practices and is not responsible for them.

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.

At zayera.com, we respect your privacy. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when we handle your personal data.

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

Zayera Khan runs this website as a sole trader (enskild firma), registered in Sweden. “Zayera Tours” is a marketing name for the tour guide services offered on this site — it is not a separate company. Zayera Khan is the person responsible for your data under this policy.

2. What Data We Collect and Why

Comments: when you leave a comment, we save what you write, plus your IP address and browser type, to help catch spam. This is handled by WordPress, not read or managed by Zayera personally.
Photos you upload: check that a photo does not contain hidden location (GPS) data before uploading — other visitors may be able to see this.
Contact form: information you provide is used only to answer your message.
Bookings and tour requests: made by contact form, email, phone, or WhatsApp — used only to answer your request and provide the service.
WhatsApp: your phone number and message are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy, in addition to this one, and used only to respond to you and arrange your tour.
Accessibility and health information: if you tell Zayera in writing about an accessibility need, mobility limit, or medical condition before a tour, this is used only to plan and run that tour safely. This is a special, more sensitive category of data under GDPR, so it is only collected and used with your explicit consent — given by the fact that you choose to share it in writing — and it is not passed on beyond what is needed to run your tour safely.
Photos and video taken during tours: Zayera may photograph or film while guiding, for use on zayera.com, in marketing, and on social media. If you would rather not appear, tell Zayera before or during the tour.

4. How Long We Keep Data

Comments are kept by WordPress so the site can recognize you if you comment again. Contact form, booking, and WhatsApp messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to you. Accessibility and health information is kept only as long as needed for the specific tour it was given for, then deleted, unless you book again and choose to share it again.

5. Sharing and Security

We do not sell your data, and only share it when needed to run the site or provide a service: automated spam checks (WordPress), your IP address in password-reset emails for security, and WhatsApp messages handled by WhatsApp/Meta as described above. We plan to introduce online payment through Stripe and/or PayPal; once live, your payment details will be handled directly by them under their own privacy policies, and this section will be updated with full detail at that point.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you live in the EU, you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it — though we may need to keep some data for legal, security, or tax reasons even after a deletion request.
