Why work with me
Planning and logistics
Guiding a group through a city takes real planning. With over 20 years of project experience, I handle timing, routes and last-minute changes calmly.
Group leadership
I trained as a coach and group facilitator. I notice how a group is feeling, and I keep everyone engaged and included, in a large group or a small one.
Service for each guest
My background is in cognitive science and human behaviour. I notice what each guest needs and adjust how I explain things.
My background
I was born in Karachi, Pakistan, and grew up in Nigeria and in Lund, Sweden. I worked for more than 20 years in user experience design and team leadership, for companies such as Swisscom, Orange and Forrester Research, and for Swedish organisations such as Arbetsförmedlingen, 1177 Vårdguiden and Scania. I learned German during seven years in Zurich. I have lived in Stockholm since 2008.
I started working in travel and tourism in summer 2025, first as a tour guide in Norway. I have handled real pressure, including competing on TV4’s Robinson. I stay calm, adapt fast and find solutions.
- Authorized tourist guide training (auktoriserad turistguide) at TEC. Business Region Stockholm gives the authorization. Exam on 15 April 2027.
- Travel & Tourism studies (TRAC) at YH Akademin, graduating in December 2026.

We were visiting Stockholm for the weekend and wanted to see its nature and Zayera offered us an 8km hike in an amazing forest and a swim in a very beautiful lake at the end. The experience was incredible.

Zayera was so polite and kind. I really recommend this tour if you want to see a different side of Stockholm and especially if you want to get out of the city for a while.
